So usually I don't use the Track user function of SMF because I don't want to be snooping on IP addresses but since the amount of shitposting was off the charts, I thought I'd take a look and see who Ethos really was.

Turns out it was Mireal again. Got past our spam filter but logged in to our site using a same IP address as before on one of his failed alt accounts that got caught.

Should've expected it. Will be deleting his posts later and posts regarding him as well. Sad really, I was in talks with unbanning Mireal for the new year. But I guess that can stay for a while longer.

He also tried making another account today. One during Christmas, too. He used his Mireal alt email there but got caught by the spam ip filter. But he also used that same proxy to post here, so that got logged. Poor guy tries so hard to shitpost in the community.

Sorry for not being suspicious earlier. Was too busy with post-break homework to care.

Shall we go make our own more mature tf2 jump forums /joke  Funny thing is this community isn't so much toxic as it is people not having any filter whatsoever.  But hey, this community decided that's what they wanted when people elected for minimal moderation.  At that point, there's no reason in trying to change it.
