Why is there a limit on vote extend?

Shouldn't the players be able to decide if they want to stay on the map or not if over 2 hours? Especially during downtime when no one is playing except 1 person or when tons of players are on the map NOT wanting to rtv

i think the resurfed servers have it so that extending in the vote list has a limit while ve does not

i got cucked on littleman last today because ve ran out ;_; a bit salty here
also it changed to a shitty map so half the players left
