Can vote extend be changed so that instead of being a cap of 120 or 180 minutes, the percentage of people required to ve increases as map time increases? At 180+ it could require 100% of people to ve for an extension.

It would make more sense if everyone on the server wanted to keep playing to let them extend. It would also help with accidentally voting 5 when you're by yourself, or joining and empty server to play the map that's on only to find out it's about to change.

The extend limit is in place to ensure demos aren't recording for too long. Super-long demos can cause issues with playback and affect server stability.

Maybe we could add a command for forcing nextmap to the current one if everyone votes for it?

problem is most of the time people want to extend to save a run, so forcing the nextmap to change to the current map wouldnt fix that, and not changing it would cause issues with demos so i dont see a solution

99% of the time the map is on for that long is if its a map like squared, sync, carrot etc and someone is running,  or if someone has been grinding a map a lot. If its someone running a hard map, there's bound to be some people spectating who will vote 6 for them. If it's someone grinding, it's probably the same deal or everyone got bored and left. Most of the time you get voted off when you are grinding which isn't a problem you just wait a bit and grind more.

A command that let you nominate the current map or one of the recently played ones, if everyone agreed, would be good. It also solves the problem of having to spend 10 minutes rtving through maps to play a recent one when everyone wants to play it.

Alright, I'll have to think on this a bit longer before implementing it. I think it might be problematic if, say, someone goes afk after the map they want is chosen, only to have it changed on them.

Yeah, Tempus does this already.
