I've made a script for speedrunning on tempus since there are quite a few commands that you have to use over and over again anyway. Might as well post it here. Either put this in your autoexec.cfg or into a seperate tempus.cfg file and execute it in console when you want to speedrun.

Quote
// Get to the start of the map course
bind mouse3 sm_r

// Check for bounces
bind b sm_bcheck

// Display map name and difficulty tier in chat
bind n sm_m

// Show personal record
unbind p
bind p sm_pr

// Teleport to a level
bind l sm_l

// Hide both chat and players (You can also bind these to seperate keys obviously)
alias hideall "sm_hide; sm_hidechat"
bind h hideall

// Automatically vote for extend in map votes and hide the voting panel unless you stand still
bind "w" "+mfwd; slot6"
bind "s" "+mback; slot6"
bind "a" "+mleft; slot6"
bind "d" "+mright; slot6"
bind "SPACE" "+jump; slot6"
bind "SHIFT" "+duck; slot6"

You can also switch between third and first person while jumping, I don't really use this, but it might be useful for some things I guess.

Quote
// Switch between first and third person view
bind mouse4 sm_thirdperson
bind mouse5 sm_firstperson

pretty cool but for most of these id prefer just manually doing it
also what if you are speedrunning and want a different map voted
Why do you read this like it doesn't even matter just read my message its probably more important

Just stop moving and type !revote

Well most of those are bound to buttons, so you will do it manually anyway, just faster.

You can just save another cfg file and execute it if you aren't speedrunning anymore and want the normal voting behavior back. I named mine untempus.cfg
Quote
bind "w" "+mfwd"
bind "s" "+mback"
bind "a" "+mleft"
bind "d" "+mright"
bind "SPACE" "+jump"
bind "SHIFT" "+duck"

in a speedrun it isnt that easy
you are giving up a wr/tt run for a revote
maybe bind something like m4 or just 6 to slot6 would be more beneficial

Who on earth wants to change maps or even bother wasting time on reading/closing the map list in a WR pace speedrun? That would be a prime example of a situation where I would want to extend the map automatically and have no annoying vote thingy on my screen.

Yeah sure, that works too. You can change things up obviously.

binding run disabling commands is a bad idea imo

It's pretty much impossible to press those accidentally unless you are jumping with mousewheel

He was'nt really in a speedrun tho. If you're running you should just disable those bind.

im with oatmeal- it's pretty hard to misclick mouse3 if you don't rjump with mwheel. plus, it's nice to have a restart bind so it doesn't take 2 seconds to do every time and u just push a button
