Hey guys, here is the bsp for my map Jump_Zone. there are 50 levels so far out of the 73 that there will be once i am finished. This map is 4starters inspired with progression and layout.
The courses are alphabetical as you will see with the tier and difficulty increasing each course eg c1 is t1, c2 is t2, C3 is t3, C4 is t4, C5 is t5 and C6 is t5

However C6 currently only has two jumps which aren't t5 standard but it will be soon :3

Warning in advance, the map is full bright, really sorry but with this scale i have to light everything at the end.

Don't use any black walls, some are shootable because i still have some plans for those jumps so just don't use them. Black floors can be pogo'd and will teleport you accordingly.

Strongly advise you type in console sv_cheats 1 and the hurtme -1000000000
This greatly reduces the chance of you dying from sync jumps.

Besides that I hope anyone that tries this map out enjoys, it is far from done so keep that in mind.

If you don't know how to do a jump either add me on steam or reply here and i'll answer asap.
Mainly talking about the purple jumps, the last two i made are a bit of a puzzle, but dont want to spoil it for anyone that wants to figure them out. But to hint E6 - Rocket Race.

Bounces:
C9 Jumpoff (crouched) Bounce or Walkoff (uncrouched) Bounce or ceiling hit (crouched) Bounce
D3 ceiling hit (crouched) Bounce
E2 Walkoff (uncrouched) Bounce

Spoilers:::::::::

Bonuses:
Currently two connected and one unconnected if you want to try it out (noclip)
Orange( C2 walkoff uncrouched bounce, pogo behind to the bonus)
Green (D4 at the end of the green runway)
Purple (Unconnected, can get to with noclip) - still in development though

Feel free to just noclip around and test jumps out then let me know what you think.

If anyone wants to help test the upcoming t5 jumps that I will be making in the future, i'm talking t5 wall pogos and syncs, hit me up and let me know I need people with that ability to help out.

It's hard to tell which things you can shoot and which things you can't. Seems fun, I can play more later.

I know the wall thing is a little confusing, but i coloured all walls you can't use black. Just some jumps I want to detail and do some scaling which will involve moving walls so I haven't added nogrenade triggers to those. Hope this clears it up a little bit ^^

Also wanted to mention, I need some pretty experienced jumpers to try out the last purple (course E) jump that I have made. Need to know if last can be made without an edgebug. I'm trying to make it a double sync prefire left, prefire right, then 1 edgebug.

Small Update because I'm going away and won't be able to post the more complete version. 4 new jumps added (2 White course, 2 Green Course) and a bunch of fixes based on previous feedback.

"Im going away" sounds like you aren't returning. If you think you might never return, maybe post the .vmf so if one of us nerds here feels like it, they can maybe finish your map.

I hope you're only temporarily going though :)

Sorry I didn't mean it like that, was typing it in a rush. I am away for 1-2 weeks with no computer and there more updated version I was going to release this weekend. I couldn't do that because textures broke for some reason in my latest compile and with no time to fix I just posted an older version instead. My bad ^^ however I would like to put this out there that I am thinking about making the 6th course a collab course. So if anyone would be interested let me know?

stop scaring scotch with these absurdly long maps! he already has to do jump_depression which is at least 2hrs of zoning  :'(

I'm a big fan of 4starters style maps so I'm liking this so far. The lighting needs to be good, it's actually hard to tell where I am going when you are just using the same white square texture everywhere and its forced to fullbright.

The other problem is things you can and can't shoot. For example, on jump 1 you can shoot the floor (black), the platform (white), but not the walls (blue). On jump 2 you can shoot white and blue (already continuity error), and then by the time you are halfway through the red course you can't shoot black anymore, but only the walls? There is also a jump in there where you cannot shoot a white ramp. It's just a little bit confusing.

Otherwise, promising map.

Thanks for trying it out porkie, to address some of the concerns you have: a few people have mentioned the wall issue and I promise I am going to fix it so that just black walls can't be shot. As for the white ramps, I made them like that to fit with 4starters. You can't shoot white ramps on 4starters e.g. D8 and E8. Finally of course I need to add lighting which unfortunately I have decided to do last once all the jumps are made. This is because there are so many and I'm constantly moving and trying to fit new stuff around old jumps. Just saying it's far from done design wise, just trying to get the jumps right first.
Will release more updates and fixes once I'm back!
