Banned for using VPN?

Hello. I was trying to play on a jump server with my friends and I accidentally left my VPN on.

This resulted in me getting permanently banned from all jumpacademy.tf servers for the reason "[SourceSleuth] Duplicate account". Based on how VPNs work, I probably was banned because other people are using that same IP at the same time. https://i.imgur.com/b53Mybk.png

It was dumb to leave my VPN on, but it was just a thing that I forgot that I had enabled on my laptop at the time. My honest mistake.

Is it possible to receive an unban so I can play some jump maps?
