I got a issue with water and im not sure if its cause my mapping or just my tf2.
A few weeks ago i downloaded a high fps script from here https://chrisdown.name/tf2/
and since i used it the water looks terrible.
When working on jump_sketchy i already had the problem http://i.imgur.com/YoblGJv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kR1UJ8f.jpg
And the same problem again when i was working on jump_sitood http://i.imgur.com/htlX6Lm.jpg
And now im making a new map and it happens again http://i.imgur.com/yR2CCAk.jpg
But its not only my maps where i see water like this.
Even in stock maps like ctf_2fort the water looks terrible.

I already tried some things like typing buildcubemaps in console but it looks like its not working.

Anyone know what im doing wrong?

Do you mean the purple poop or the general quality of the water texture?

To get rid of the purple stuff on all quality settings, do this: http://tf2.gamebanana.com/tuts/10629
Have you set up cubemap entities over areas with water?

If you mean the general quality of the water texture, try executing chris' maxquality script and make sure your dxlevel is 98
