Hiding whats behind skybox texture? (fading)

Hello so i was wondering if i could hide brushes that are placed behind the skybox

can there be also something to limit the fading like in here

if there is no way for this to happen, whats the minimum hammer units where it won't let you see whats behind the skybox?
because the distance between the skybox and the room above it is around 64-128 unit
