Dark's personal regen and tele

This is a prefab you can add to your jump maps. This allows you to have a spawn setup where each player has constant ammo and health so you no longer need to add func_regenerate and trigger_hurt throughout your map. It also allows players to teleport back to the start by simply looking up and using their "use" key. I included a spawn setup for the other team which auto swaps players and added some neat effects for when you teleport.

This looks pretty cool, I'm impressed by the amount of work that has gone into this and there's a couple of really useful elements there.

If you want full regeneration all around your map, isn't it just easier to have a big block of regen and hurt though? I don't mean this to be provocative, but what are the benefits of using this method?

Well the idea was for the teleport alone at the very beginning, but as i started working on it I thought I may as well add the regen and hurt triggers to follow the player also. It just provides a solid parenting framework that is pretty full proof and makes it easy to set up spawns for your jump maps.

This is really neat, especially the teleport thing.  The only problem I can see with it is that sometimes you don't want people to have unlimited rockets/stickies.  But for a lot of maps, this looks like it can be really useful.

The teleport feature is great, and the automatic team switch is something I will almost certainly add to my map.

I just think that if I wanted map wide regen, I would just use two large volumes for that, and if I wanted limited regen then this wouldn't work anyway :(

However... Is there any way to create regen exclusion areas with your current method? So instead of all areas needing regen, all areas not needing it have a volume instead?

Easy. Make a trigger_multiple box in the area where you want to restrict rockets/stickies. As soon as the player leaves the volume the regen will start again.

Amazing. This is seriously a big deal then - will almost certainly use this on future maps.

this looks really good actually it'll save me time and stress for my maps because i don't make jumps with rocket limitations usually
i'll use it in my upcoming map if it doesn't cause any issue (which it shouldn't, but who knows? maybe it'll be like the set health 500 trigger where it causes some lag)
