Any speedruns/races/showcases catch your eye this year?

So far I enjoyed the stepmania segment the most(but I'm biased  )

I never expected to see it there.. maybe tf2 jump has a chance to go mainstream after all.

Mario maker segment was pretty cool. Looking forward to the tas block bc I'm not really sure how they can top what they did last year.

Yeah the stepmania segment was crazy, I've always wanted to see someone destroy expert levels.

sm64 race was good as always
mario maker was really fun to watch

I loved the HL2 speedrun, especially because the person running had a great sense of humor

Kaizo mario + mario maker so far, always gets the audience going.

I still think jump could do a segment, but I think only something like a 4way race would be watchable, races always been the most enjoyable to watch at ToTH. Less chances for a massive reset fest and a good dose of live competition. Could do a simple tournament scoring system over a handful of maps.

Downside is we'd need to organise 4 people to show (ideally people who could do both demo and soldier).

Might have to check that one out. HL2 runs have always been cool to watch 


Unfortunately, I only saw the end of the mario maker segment, but the sm64 race was great.  Although the interview after was kind of silly.

Awful block is always my favorite part, but I slept right through most of it
