I suggest that you mappers not make the map final. Make it alpha or something. You can add more levels/perfect the map once the jam is over and then u can put it final.

While I agree with you, from my perspective when judging if the map feels like it's missing elements or incomplete that will be a negative factor towards scoring. Even if the mapper intends to add more later the submission should still feel as complete as possible, even if that means a relatively short map which will be extended in the future.

Yes, although even if it's incomplete somewhat during the jam, you can just finish it later on. Just try the very best to make the map complete..

I second that, from the jumpers perspective, there is just a very big appetite for good new jump maps and if this timespan is not enough to make the maps good enough you guys can always finish and perfect them afterwards. (Though of course you should strive for perfecting what you do wind up finishing for the competition. Or as the op said, perfecting 3 jumps and making an unfinished map can def be better than 20 rushed out jumps).
