And can you ctap a sticky jump?? Seems not.

No you kill yourself because you're a certain distance for the stickies. You can also kill yourself with just a jump or crouched and jump.
But that was not my question.
My question was if it makes you go higher.

Crouch boosting (crouching before jumping, but not letting it go) will give you extra speed. Ctap doesn't work.

this says 1 sticky will get you a maximum of 960 units vertical. it has the right soldier ctap height so it could be accurate, you got 1028 though so who knows if its any good

The Mapper's Reference isn't always accurate. They didn't do enough testing. For instance, I had to add myself the 691 ctap max height.
