It seems like sheepy uploads pretty quick on spotify. He is uploading faster than I can listen, and theres already 1000 songs on the playlist so I have a lot of catching up to do lol

So much hype though. Sheepy has like the best music

I really did not like music (other than drake tbh) then I found sheepy

The music he uploads never drops in quality other than the really, really rare occasional bad ones in experimental week

Yeah dude he is the most consistent producer with good music

You guys do realise he doesn't produce a thing??
He just uploads music people send to him...

It's not even a label or anything.

Not quite. He used to but now he uploads music he finds himself and wants to promote and also songs sent by artists themselves that aren't being uploaded anywhere else. It's a good reference, my friend.

Favourite artists in different genres:

Electronic music:
1. Autechre (song: Lentic Catachresis)

Probably the most creative electronic music I've heard. Everything you hear in this track is made in a computer, something which I find ridiculous
2. Aphex Twin (song: Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michael's Mount)

One of my favourite songs ever from one of my favourite artists ever
3. Boards of Canada (song: An Eagle In Your Mind)

Same as before. The video made for this one also needs to be credited
4. Amon Tobin (song: Lost & Found)

Amon Tobin does the opposite of Autechre. Everything you hear is field recorded and then manipulated so that it sounds like a tune
5. Squarepusher (song: Smedley's Melody)

I never really got in to Squarepusher until I bought his Feed Me Weird Things on vinyl. Since then, I've been a huge fan

Metal:
1. Meshuggah (song: Future Breed Machine)

My favourite band ever. This song is just brutality, and the rhythms are also really interesting
2. Opeth (song: The Drapery Falls)

I love the harmonies in this song. I haven't listened much to Opeth, but one single album turned them into one of my favourite bands
3. Behemoth (song: Arcana Hereticae)
(props to this amazing drum cover by the way)
Fantastic blend of death metal and black metal. The melodies are fantastic throughout this song and the drums are just perfect
4. Dream Theater (song: A Nightmare to Remember)

Dream Theater is a band which has the potential to make the best and the worst songs of all time. While I hate songs like The Spirit Carries On, songs like Dance of Eternity and this one are what keeps me listening
5. Gojira (song: Toxic Garbage Island)

Try to listen to this song without headbanging

Rock/progressive rock:
1. Pink Floyd (song: Dogs)

Been one of my favourite bands since I was very young. I consider The Wall to be the greatest modern album
2. Egg (song: A Visit to Newport Hospital)

I recently discovered Egg and fell in love instantly after hearing this tune
3. Genesis (song: Firth of Fifth)

As a big fan of classical music, I cannot neglect Genesis
4. Gentle Giant (song: Proclamation)

Gentle Giant as a band are ok, but this one song brings them up so much on my list of favourite bands
5. David Bowie (song: Lady Grinning Soul)

Bowie is both overrated and underrated in my opinion, mostly because his really good tunes (like this one) remain unnoticed while his really bad tunes (like Heroes) are the most popular

Hip Hop/Rap:
1. Madvillain (song: Raid)

MF Doom is the king of hip hop. That's all I need to say. Also, they were featured in a ROTW
2. Deltron 3030 (song: Turbulence)

I cannot get enough of Del tha Funkee Homosapien's sick rhymes and flow, Dan the Automator's production and Kid Koala's fantastic scratching
3. Jedi Mind Tricks (song: Kublai Khan)

One of the best hip hop beats I know is in this track
4. Cypress Hill (song: I Ain't Goin Out Like That)

I love the voice of B-real, and the bassline is S I C K
5. 2pac (song: Hit 'Em Up)

Tupac is just so savage in this track

Classical music:
1. Stravinsky (piece: The Rite of Spring)

My favourite piece of music ever. Stravinsky was a pure genius. Too bad he was a fascist
2. Liszt (piece: Ballade No. 2 in B Minor)

My favourite piano piece ever. Liszt was a pure genius. He was probably not a fascist though. Does that make him better than Stravinsky?
3. Ravel (piece: Jeaux D'eaux)

I have always loved the abstract melodies of composers like Debussy and Ravel, but I find Ravel to be the better of the two
4. Rachmaninov (piece: Piano Concerto No. 3)

This performance by Martha Argerich might be one of the greatest performances of all time
5. Philip Glass (piece: The Grid)

This piece sounds to me like a representation of what's happening on earth at the moment. You'll know what I mean when you hear the tunes
