Real solid map, gives me a Torii vibe. The soldier platforms on the jump before the verts, they teleport demo to the wrong level. Also the glass you used is sort of hard to see, especially when used as dividers, a bit confusing in one of the earlier levels. Otherwise, well done.

This map is t4 for soldier, an easy t4 since you added so many cheats. You can make it as difficult as you want for soldier, but I think It takes away from the map. Some of the platforms that you can stand as soldier are not obvious at all, like the very edge of the platform on the downvert jump.

idk what is intended here but I crouch + airstick at the beginning of this jump and I have to walk back a bit to get space. I'd put the teleport destination back a bit if that's intended

Alright, after playing a2, I have to say that I'm really quite happy to see this map.

Detailing/aesthetic

I've always been an admirer of Torii's demo maps like Lanc and Arugula, and I feel like this map joined that list with ease. The general aesthetic, color palette, and overall attention to detail makes for, to me, a really balanced and refined look. I just really want to say that I appreciate this quite a bit.

Jumps (demo)

I really like that you made this map decently long, and that you filled that length with fun and interesting jumps. While I think that the spacing is otherwise perfect, the spacing on last could be a bit better. I often found myself not hitting the air-double due to my stickies going too low, so perhaps lowering the floor in that area would be a good idea. Other than that, I think that the spacing is good enough to allow for people with different styles of jumping to approach each jump in enough of their own way to make it fun for themselves. I'm really trying to say that the spacing is good. Another thing that I liked was that you weren't scared of making long jumps. For me at least, long jumps make maps much more satisfying and thus fun, so thank you for this, as I really wish that more mappers would make longer jumps.


I really respect what you've created, so-much-so that I'd say that this is one of my new favorite maps.
