Somewhat of a meme map made during the Jump.tf Map Jam Contest. Focuses mostly around jumps with moving platforms.

Changelog:
A1: (10 jumps, 1 Bonus)
-Initial release

A2: (10 jumps, 3 Bonus)
-Added two bonuses
-Changed jump 2 (moved the platforms closer to the start/end)
-Changed jump 4 (slowed down platform and added a wall to shoot off)



Honestly not sure when/if I am going to "finish" this map. It will likely get updated as I come up with ideas but it will likely stay as a1 for a decent amount of time.

Updated mainly to fix a few things that bothered me about the main course jumps as well as to add some pretty epic bonuses.

Big thanks to Bear/Waldo/MrHappyCamper for helping to design/test some of the bonuses.

Showcase added, I've worked on this a little bit since the competition ended but have only completed 1 or 2 random jumps. I'll likely develop this more as I come up with ideas and eventually come to a full release like my other maps (Ideally 20 Jumps and 4 bonuses)

If anybody has any ideas/suggestions I would love to hear them (inb4 delete the map)

Map was pretty fun and not as awful as I would've thought because all the platforms move pretty slow. Last seems like the spacing is a little far for the second platform imo. Also that bonus so gross, good job.

I like the jumps in the main map and I'm fine with bonuses one and two, but b3 takes it too far. At least make more moving walls.
I wouldn't count on this getting added to tempus because it won't be fun to speedrun, but it seems like it would be good for non-timed jump servers. I love moving platforms. I love you.

I wouldn't count on this getting added to tempus because it won't be fun to speedrun, but it seems like it would be good for non-timed jump servers. I love moving platforms. I love you.

b3 was originally roughly 3 times slower, after talking with resident wallpogo savant mrhappycamper he suggested that I drastically increase the speed of the walls. I also originally had some moving teleport walls on that bonus but I decided to tone it back slightly and just keep it with the static ones as seeing the moving ones while pogoing seemed to be a bit much.

I don't think the basis of a map being added to Tempus should be if it's fun to run or not, considering that that is fairly subjective and there are already quite a few maps that I imagine almost nobody enjoys running currently on there. Either way the small amount of variance that the platforms provide (Even though their timing is consistent) would likely be mitigated by anybody who would be going for tt/wr on the map anyway.

While I agree with what you said, I think you missed my suggestion. By "more moving walls" I meant more of the wallpogo walls moving along the same path. It would suck getting decently far into the pogo, failing, and then having to wait all that time for the walls to come back. Unless there's something that I missed that teles the walls back, I think more of them should be added.

While I agree with what you said, I think you missed my suggestion. By "more moving walls" I meant more of the wallpogo walls moving along the same path. It would suck getting decently far into the pogo, failing, and then having to wait all that time for the walls to come back. Unless there's something that I missed that teles the walls back, I think more of them should be added.

I'm sure its possible to do but having it be workable online would be a bit rough, especially the reset thing as it would be very difficult to prevent people from abusing it and potentially ruining other peoples runs.
