apparently steam login has been broken for some time so i tried reinstalling the mod (there are no updates) and it wiped the api keys used so until i get the keys back the steam login is disabled.
even if the api keys are obtained again there's a good chance that the login is still broken and if that's the case i'll spend 30 mins trying to debug and if i can't find the underlying issue steam login is dead forever
