Made a few nonade fixes and detailing improvements. We are trying to hide parts of the map showing through the skybox, but besides that it's done. Feedback on jumps/improvements still appreciated ^^      (Showcase coming soon)

very nice looking map, had lots of jumps that were pretty fun even though i can't play soldier

  • i only got owned once but jump 2 (and 7) could use this (https://jump.tf/forum/index.php/topic,3051.msg25569.html) to make the auto ebs more consistent
  • the water on jump 4 looks very weird and white for me but im not sure if that's a config problem or not. no gameplay issues
  • the ramp on 7 has nonade just thick enough to sometimes own stickies for demo, this is a soldier map so it doesnt really matter but raising / lowering that a bit would be nice for completion grinders
  • on 9 it might be helpful to texture the backwall you're supposed to shoot the start the jump orange/white since that's what the other shootable things on the jump are
  • also on 9 is the only place i noticed somewhere you can see through the skybox like you mentioned. i would suggest this guide (https://www.interlopers.net/optimization/index.php?chapter=intro), specifically the "visleafs" and "hints" sections if you don't want to read the whole thing
  • jump 10 feels somewhat janky but this is past the point where i can do jumps reasonably easily anyways so it might be fine anyways.

We are finally happy with how everything is and feel like we have finally finished the map.
Now has 4 bonuses at the end and a hidden easter egg  mystery type thingy c:

A couple of things I want to add:

Changelog for version v1
  • Fixed all the spots where you were able to look into the map where you weren't supposed to
  • Changed all of the edgebugs  with more consistent ones
  • Changed the starting position on jump 10 and made a tele on the ceiling of the previous connector to set up nicely
  • Added a spawnroom for red
  • A lot of signs added to on the end and some more changes there
  • 4 bonuses added
  • Detailing changes

Also, thanks Hex for testing the map! To respond to your points:
  • We changed all of the edgebugs to those, thanks for the tip!
  • That might be just how the water looks. It's a different texture from all the other water areas, and we liked that it was a bit glowy on the sides.
  • Will have to give it a try, but otherwise, I think you can airpogo to the wall and get from there to the end?
  • On all of the other jumps you start with a brown-black wall so in my opinion it would make more sense to have it like this.
  • Fixed all of those spots now :)
  • I hope that that is also fixed with this new version!

Thanks for the feedback False! For now I removed the bumpmaps from the texture, which fixes it, but don't know if it would cause extra errors.
