Is there a way to record a replay on custom maps?

I'm trying to figure out why my triple timing is off, so I figured I could record and watch it back in third person.  I get an error that says 'replay not supported on listen servers.'   Is there a way around this or a way to record and watch it back in third person?

record a demo

open console and type 'record [put a name for your demo here]'
when you want to stop recording, type stop in console

to play the demo file, press shfit + f2 or type 'demoui' in console to open the demo UI. Click load, and look for your recording, which will be [name you entered].dem. Open the file, and boom. It'll be like spectating a server, so just go to your cam and watch yourself in 3rd person. Shift + f2 for controls like slowing down playback, pausing, or going to a specific tick in the demo.

The recording works but I can only change camera views via console.  What is the command to go free roam with the camera?

you need to record an stv demo not pov demo if you want third person

tv_enable 1, then reload map
tv_record demoname
tv_stoprecord

It appears as though I'm in 3rd person with tv_record, but I cannot move around.  I'm just sitting outside of the map unable to move the camera.
