Hello gamers

A T4 soldier map

I'm looking mostly for spacing feedback for both classes, but as always feel free to tell me about anything.

The map isn't nonade yet, but what you can use should be obvious. Jumps are also not ordered yet.
I gonna add some connectors later on, and some little things (like jumps numbers or maybe do a bit of detailling)

Anyways I hope you'll enjoy

Map updated with many spacing changes, jumps are now ordered and there are jump numbers.

Really cool map. Especially pleased with the levels 6, 8 and 9. And personally I have no complaints about spacing or levels, except that level 7 seems to be slightly out of the general atmosphere of the map.

on 7 i bonk my head! owie!
also on 9 its very easy to get too much speed from the auto ebs and you won't have time to shoot the ramp in front of you

overall very cool :)

cool jumps, boring textures. they are clear and definitely work but if you want the map to be memorable then a texture palette that's more unique would go a very long way.

- the black platform behind the ramp on #4 is missing a teleport
- the ? on #9 isn't really needed considering all of the other jurfs with that texture & a red platform underneath them have had auto-edgebugs (like jump2)

for demo the map is fine, just please make every nogrenade 1 unit thick against the wall when you go to do that for soldier. it takes a few more minutes of time but it makes the map not be frustrating aids to play on demo. having to guess what walls or blocks of air will and won't eat your stickies is very painful

maps fun, I think last would be a lot better if you moved the final wall down a little, I found it pretty hard to make it to the wall. everything else seemed solid

  • Extended a bit walls of jump 3 to avoid overshot
  • Extended bottom of last wall of last
  • New jump between 7 and 8
  • Extended a bit the ramp on 9
    • Some other minors fixes

I'll be careful with nonades !
I really suck when it comes to detailling but I'll look into some spicy textures and maybe doing some brush work to enhances the aesthetics.

Where do you bonk on jump 7 ? At start, below the playerclip? If that's it I don't get how you hit that tbh



I'm looking for feedback concerning the new jump. It's meant to replace jump 7, it is working but I don't know if spacing is really good or not.

About the new level: I think it will be great if you make the walls at the end of this level clipbrushed. Also, i bonk my head a few times after second wallshot on the very edge of the ceiling. As for spacing, I don't know what to say specifically, but I found this level probably the most difficult of all on the map. Although it may just be because I'm bad :) Overall, i think its a good replacement for level 7.

  • Reworked old jump 7 so deleted the other one
  • Some rooms are detailled, all of them are re-textured, that's probably not unique textures or anything but that looks definitely better

So next steps are detailling and connectors, stay tuned

Hey, it's been a while since last update

Link updated to current version, map is fully connected etc
This should be pretty much finale version Small update soon

I don't really know how playable it is as demo with the playerclips now, I'm willing to make some changes about that if something is really an issue

Also hoping there are no missing textures etc, let me know otherwise

The ceiling over the start of jump 6 might be missing a lighting prop (there is a random light thingie just randomly in the open

Updated to rc2,  fixed some textures alignments and the missing props,  fixed a nonade and reviewed some stuffs according to this : https://jump.tf/forum/index.php/topic,3276.0.html
