Hi, sorry old thread got deleted.

BSP of final version is linked below, credit to people who helped test in old thread and to TopHATTWaffle for his realworld textures.

This is the final version so I won't be making changes based on regular feedback, but feel free to let me know what you think anyway so I can take it onboard for future maps. If there are any changes I need to make to meet Tempus's current map standards let me know.

the long awaited sequel to jump_fortnite is finally here

overall map was fun, definitely weird and abnormal but I'm guessing that's kind of what you were going for. lots of the jumps are very interesting which I think plays well to the map. the one thing that may-or-may-not be tempus ready are the two buttons (pumpkin + market gardener) but I'll let somebody else speak to that.

Weird but fun map

This nonade is illegal



And when you capture CP it says "Praise Oatmeal (change this)" so pretty self-explanatory

Ok I fixed the illegal nonade, that was an embarrassing oversight on my part. I also changed the CP because why not.

RE: Hex's feedback, I dont know where to add a clip brush to fix the rampbugs but it seems like a pretty minor issue. The 2nd jump you feedbacked on is a bit tricky but I'll upload a playthrough video to show how to do it and the last jump soon. The magma platform on last is a catch so you don't have to random bounce it.

I'll wait for some more feedback if I need to change anything else to make it Tempus-Ready? before I upload a v2.

On last I meant that you get random bounces when you don't want them, which means you fail the jump because you're going too high.

For the ramp jump I made a wonderful ms paint graphic that may explain what I mean: https://i.imgur.com/iJUUQ0z.png

Essentially, as far as I can tell hitting the seam of the two ramps where the red circle is is what actually kills your speed. If you add a clip similar to the purple line in the picture it would slide you past that seam and you'd never lose speed. You might need to play with the clip to make sure it's a good angle and not too shallow but it's something to mess with.

I see, I don't know how to fix the random bounce problem on last but I fixed the ramp thing with player clip as that is a pretty big problem, thanks for the feedback.

I also tried to make the 4th last jump with the ramps a bit more consistent but I'm not going to worry too much about it.

1. Select brush
2. Select toggle texture application tool (rubik's cube)
3. Go to displacement tab and create displacements of the power of 2
4. Click No Hull Collision (this allows players to go through) then apply
5. Place teleport and catapult triggers inside the brush.

OK done although I don't get what the point of the catapult is.

the catapult triggers make it so your momentum gets cancelled, preventing you from flying all over the place after getting teleported.
