I used it while I was soldier..

Well that plan didn't work as very well then haha. That's why I said it was slightly experimental. I will have to come up with something else now then. Thanks for pointing it out Heinz.

Yeah same here, but having it fail for just one person is reason enough to revert it. I knew it would most likely be a bit buggy since there are no real class filters for TF2. What I did here was basically just a hack. Anyway, I am working on a new version where C9, D5 and D10 have just been altered slightly to make them possible for demomen.

D5 is already possible as demo, though you have to jump twice. The first time you have to pogo to the end, double and sticky both the buttons. The second time you can jump double off the wall and there's enough time to get through before the beams return, as long as you don't edgebug like I did the first time. The part afterwards is just a double to prefire.

Demos for proof:
Successful attempt (http://thephlognoobs.tf/cube-d5.dem)
Edgebug fail (http://thephlognoobs.tf/cube-d5-edgebugfail.dem)

Hopefully whatever modification you have in mind makes it friendlier for demos. If people have to jump twice, they'll just end up getting a soldier to cheat for them on tempus.

I can't seem to replicate it. But you can go through there as demo with all the weapons, not just the sticky launcher.

Ok it's weird, while I am typing this I am trying it some more, but now it suddenly only works with the launcher, it seems.

Ok, more testing, I think I know how it works: Initially you can only go through there as demo with the sticky launcher, but once you went through there once, after that you can change weapon or class, as long as you don't die/kill yourself. The teleport "remembers" that you went through there and still allows you to go through even though you're maybe a soldier or a demoman with a wrong loadout.
I think that might be kinda bad for servers as well.
You can check the map I posted, I guess you can still pass that with bhop though.

Thanks a lot for taking time to record those demos! I have done a few changes that should make it possible to clear the jumps in only one run.

Yeah it was supposed to reset every time you changed class or died, but it seems there was a chance for it to fail. Thanks for troubleshooting it!

And you can do both as demo and soldier....
But one was intended just for soldier.

Well I have updated the map to b6 now, hopefully both soldiers and demomen are content now!

I like the changes  ;D

Some of the buttons were really just unnecessarily annoying.

Well I had soldiers complain about there being too many buttons overall as well. Besides, the map is still in beta which means tweaks and changes will happen! I can't really account for existing tempus times when designing the map, sorry.

Case in point :P
