Asking for donations was not the best way to start this out. Another issue is we haven't seen ANY of your previous work so we can't say "this will work because the quality of your edits will keep this channel interesting," so we have go with what the obvious is going to be like. We don't want another jumpacademy.tf (which >almost< went somewhere, but didn't). It'd be best if you could show us some edited footage.
On your argument on something "original" it's not really original doing map showcases because many people do them on their own time, and that tf2rjweekly has done showcases before (although for jump events i.e. beginnings/2). People who are good enough will be shown on tf2rjweekly, it's as simple as that. If you want to go make an intermediate jump channel by all means go ahead, but I wouldn't expect the turnout to be as good as what tf2rjweekly has become because the jumps are, well, intermediate.
