Well, Natta and Comby are hosting and maintaining the servers out of their own kindness and good will. I think they are well aware of the downtime and are currently working on fixing it. In the mean time, I believe that there are other servers available for you to jump on. I have rented a server before, and believe me, it isn't easy sorting things out, especially on a server as popular as theirs. Don't forget the cost of owning 2(or more) 24 slot player server. But do they pester you for donations?

There's an issue going on with the server box that's forcing files into read-only mode. We're looking into it and will hopefully get the servers back online shortly.
