[WIP] Jump Geotag

Heya there,

This isn't your usual Soldier or Demoman jump map. This map is designed to be used with the grappling hook. So any class except Scout :D

I am wanting feedback as the map only has 5 jumps (due to the new nature of what the jumps are) also suggestions for later jumps.

Forgot to mention only the very light coloured wood can be hooked on.

Honestly this was probably the most fun I have ever had playing a new map!

The only problem is the jumps were pretty easy, also for later jumps you can mix grappling hooks with rocket jumps, and make like a 30 jump map!

Edit - My best time is 43.6 seconds, also a grappling sync?

I have no idea how I would go about mixing it up with some actual jumps as the grappling hook would slow your speed down.

put the grapples at the beginning of the jump maybe?  like how bounces are easier to put the the start of a jump than the end

I approve of designing maps specifically for grappling.

From my experience, nothing comes close to being as amusing as a pack of three or more heavies grappling their way through jump_squared_b2 together on a jump server -- especially that maze.  ;)

Techniques I found so far from trying that includes what I term as: grapple-pogo (floor/ceiling), wall-grapple, corner-grapple, down-grapple, and tele-grapple (!).  :P

AI...would you be able to produce a demo showing the "tele-grapple" As I'm not sure how one would do that.

All the others I should be able to do. However the most difficult part will be mixing it with rocket jumps.

Grappling hooks have a max range upon firing, but do not snap from a teleport so the range can be extended and the player's movement direction can change after teleportation.

You should mix up the grapling hook jumps with amazing eetailing that makes you feel like spiderman or something jumping from building to building.

That'd be pretty sweet

Yeah I have got an ideas now. Will be updating this throughout the week when I don't have work etc.
