This map has been broken for 8 months. I've known about this issue for 3 months. There are many many ways to tell me that my maps are broken people. If you get teleported while in the middle of a jump for no reason, fucking tell me. I can fix it.

_v3:
removed all angle bhops that matter
removed the wallbug strat on 3
fixed the anti cheat on 8 for multiplayer
added another anti cheat mechanic on bonus 1

for tempus:
I don't think you need to wipe the map times, primarily because I don't think anyone has flawless'd yet
You should wipe bonus 1 completions because of angled bhops
bonus 2 completions can stay, I didn't change that at all
Frankly I don't even know why I'm saying this because this map probably won't be uploaded anyway.

12 jumps

Technically 4 bonuses
2 actual bonuses
1 arbitrary bonus to get to level select that can be skipped
1 bonus only available with demo (intel in bonus 2)
And 2 hidden bonuses that are entirely useless because you can't actually do anything at the bottom of the spawn room.

Talkingmelon told me he wouldn't be finishing jump_bouncy so I made this.

If no one finds any issues with it in the next couple weeks I'll release the final version with HDR and a few other incredibly small changes

Some numbers:
bounce: 16 total bounces, 1 can be skipped, 10 unique bounces, 1 intended powerbounce
bounce2: 29 total bounces, 1 can be skipped, 27 unique bounces, 5 intended powerbounces

There are a lot of hidden powerbounces (10 by my count), 8 of which require an edgebug while crouched.

Bonus 1 may be impossible, I haven't tried to do the math on that one yet but, you should fire the first rocket after going through the blue ring, I think.

Red line is an ideal rocket bundle
Blue line is the path a player will take
If done perfectly all rockets in the bundle will be at most ~1.5 units away from any other rocket, and all rockets will hit the ground 1 tick after the player jumps.

Huge shoutout to Talkingmelon for making Jrecord, and bounce alert. And to Walrex for being my main guinea pig and for telling me why I'm bad at making maps.



Also while working on this, the map broke in the most incredible way I've ever seen. I have no fucking clue what happened but it broke something fierce.

How to do the "bonus" to the level select properly?
jump or ctap off uncrouch. It's what I've dubbed a 'golden' bounce, if you +jump in the same tick as +attack you will bounce (assuming the rocket angle is near vertical).

I'll be adding another ? to the Cap platform to explain that.

Changes:
Added ? at cap platform
Fixed the timer from being dumb
Fixed a bug on jump 4 where falling in the water would send you back to jump 3
Fixed a bug where you could get stuck in the wall on Bonus 2
Fixed the anti telesync wall on jump 2 from being so un demo friendly

Note, the timer may still be really dumb on servers, but for offline it works fine now.

I dont know how other people feel about this, but I don't like naming a map something too similar to a map that already exists. It makes it hard to remember which map is which.

Then again its your map, you can name it whatever the hell you want. Map looks very nice btw :)

I do agree that this kind of a naming scheme can get really confusing, but I feel that as long as we don't end up with bounce9 we'll probably be ok.

Ayers is a map "franchise" that is in the same sort of category and it's really only a minor annoyance imo, same with the sketchy family.
And I feel that if the two maps are different enough it would make it matter a lot less. ayers looks like poop, while ayers2 looks great; sketchy is for demo, while sketchy2 is for solly.

It's also worth noting that bounce was released like 3 years ago.
