Hammer gives me the "gameinfo.txt is missing" error because I moved my Steam from the standard C:/ directory to a new directory in the E:/ drive.

I've tried making a shortcut and specifying my game directory through the "-game" command (as some sites have suggested) but the error is still the same, where it tries to find gameinfo.txt in the standard C:\ directory

Please send help

Open hammer, go tools -> options, 2nd last option should be what you are looking for.
You might be able to just change your steam game directory since hammer uses that to find its files.

delete bin folder , go to libary - right click on team fortress 2 - properties - verify integrity of game cache

Couldnt you also just combine E:/ and C:/ into a larger C:/? That's what I did, i think...
