It's because people aren't really trying super hard to make them unbeatable yet, just give it time and some great ones will emerge.

Im just concerned about somebody in the future who is able to pull off near perfect runs and have been blamed for using a undetectable TAS and then a shit ton of other people using undetectable TAS to make perfect runs.
Also it kinda sucks because normal runs will seem so boring and pathetic when there are perfect TAS runs out there completely crushing their times.
Before you know it it'll be who has the fastest TAS run.
It's already started too
Why do you read this like it doesn't even matter just read my message its probably more important

  • Don't use it with shitty speedshot/bhop plugins (hold crouch + space and shoot = speedshot) or bullshit like that
  • Be smooth

Nolem, with all due respect, don't you think your contradicting yourself here?
From what I know "be smooth" means to not flood flood the video with impossible bounces every 2 seconds.
Anyways I'm not trying to pick a bone with you, rather could you further elaborate on what a TAS run should & should not be?

I assumed what he meant is smooth with your mouse movements. I don't know if you've tried it out but if you're not really smooth it can be pretty obvious where you saveframed because the mouse jerks around afterwards.

By "be smooth",  I meant that it shouldn't look jerky. My plugin basically lets you make perfect looking runs, so I think that you could at least take the time to make it look visually appealing and not just crap out awful looking recordings.

Yeah with the save frames you have to be careful. I made it play back for a 30 ticks before you get control to try and give you the feel for how you were moving your mouse at the checkpoint so that you can try and match that and make it look smooth.

Also no one is allowed to use the "my mouse sens" excuse.

Could you explain?

This is my in-game sens, if that means anything to what you're talking about.

Usually higher mouse sens means less smooth movements, but I use 0.8 inch/360 and I'm still able to be plenty smooth.
