Depends on what type of TAS run you are talking about. There's plenty of TAS runs in other speedrun communities that do stuff which is either impossible or virtually impossible for manual input to achieve. Also we don't really have any official records for TAS runs and unless that changes there's not much difference between 'cheating' using TAS and just using TAS. I guess the best idea is for a run to just indicate if you abuse a TAS bug like this.

Agreed, this bug can be used but it should in fact be noted in the video or in the description of the 'abuse' of this bug. I feel as if this bug will bring a heated argument somewhere. I guess we can make a rule about it, maybe nolem can add it to the list his rules of his TAS plugin. What's your opinion on it nolem?

Wat the shit this shouldn't happen I thought I fixed all this. dammit. Well whatever, you know what the engine should do so don't do something that obviously isn't possible. Plugin isn't perfect :(

Iunno, I would but I don't much feel like it. maybe I can be an assistant.
Plus if I were to do it, I would do all my vids in 4k60 because reasons.
