Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you happen to be looking for some old content that was on the old tf2jump site, you can find a backup here: http://backup.jump.tf/

It should have most pages and whatnot. If some pages are missing, well.. RIP.

Oh thank god! I thought those old forum posts were gone for good.  I was trying google cache and the wayback machine, but they weren't useful at all for me.

One problem I saw on the forum backup is that it's modifying image URLs, and prefixing them with some crazy path, like this image URL, "http://i.imgur.com/bp4vLN6.gif" gets converted to this crap "../steamprofile/themes//../steamprofile/themes//../steamprofile/themes//../../i.imgur.com/bp4vLN6.gif" which doesn't exist.  I'm guessing it's some javascript that's running, 'cause the image appear initially, and then disappear once it screws up the URLs.

Do you have an example page where this is happening? Cause the backup shouldn't have any specific js other than what existed on the old site when it was saved.

It's really any page on the forum...like a person's avatar or signature.  But here's a random one of Drexen's mapping tutorial on adding a spawn point:

http://backup.jump.tf/forums/forums.tf2jump.com/index.php/topic%2c498.0.html

In that first post should be 3 screenshots, and also Drexen's avatar, but it disappears after a split second.

Anyway, I was able to fix it using Firefox and the Ad Block Plus addon.  I made a filter to prevent it from loading "http://backup.jump.tf/forums/forums.tf2jump.com/steamprofile/steamprofile.js".

Alright, should be fixed now. Don't really have an explanation for why that javascript managed to make the relative urls mess up like that, but at least it's fixed. Thanks for the tip.
