I think if you boot tf2 with Lawena you can choose which custom files are loaded on launch, you could probably switch from a maxframes to a dx9 config that way. Other option is just make a desktop shortcut and move in and out your autoexec each time (which the Lawena route basically does) or just rename one to like autoexec2 then rename the other.
Lol its actually pretty weird to close tf2 n change autoexec file cause i tried doing it be4 n it turns out when i put back my highframe (config in be4), it actually get lagger than i use it be4, thats y i changed it to maxframe :/
However I still think you need to change in the launch options the dx level for the first launch if you are going between dx levels so there may be no quick way around your problem, correct me if I'm wrong.
Yea change launcher option is done for the first chris config used, lol i didnt know that this action causes my problem here :l thanks for telling me this though, im noob in this kind of thing :d
Just use lawena.
But ALWAYS back up your own custom folder in case something goes wrong.
Lawena takes too much spaces i tried
but it seem like im out of option, guess im gonna clear my pc storage =/
