if you have a good ssd you shouldn't have to worry about your ssd wearing out anytime soon
relatively good ssds out there can write up to 800TBs before dying, the better ones can write up to 2,400TB before dying. Even if your SSD fails in 5 years (for most people, should be around 10+), you're still paying what, $119 for a 500GB SSD currently? You're paying around $25 a year to have a significant increase in speed. Hell, SSD prices are STILL going down as of late so in the next 5 years you can probably see a 500GB ssd go for the price of a 250GB or probably even lower.
