And now for something different. This map uses the new add attribute trigger stuff to turn any rocket launcher into the airstrike, plus additional reload speed because the poor func_regen can't keep up. You can use stock or original (and it centre fires) and it should behave as the airstrike. If for some reason your weapon attributes don't change, which they should work pretty well due to where I  placed the triggers, you can simply swap to a different launcher, count to 3, then re-equip the weapon of choice.

EDIT: Recent update has changed how attributes and other things interact. It seems that func_regen gets priority or something over any attributes which change health and ammo. As a result the extra ammo and reload speed triggers get overridden. You can still easily play offline if you have a regen bind or just bind mouse1 to "+attack; impulse 101" etc. as the regen ticks are not fast enough for the airstrike. Also gunboats are probably a good idea as you can do some ridiculous syncs.

Version b1:
Contains 15 jumps, plus 3 bonuses.

Version b2:
Made horrible bounce level less horrible. Fixed some minor cheats and issues.

Showcase (just the 15 course jumps):

There's bound to be alternate strategies to what I've done here, particuarly for the large vertical syncs 7 & 14 you can do angled syncs, shitty quads/quints or like what I did on 14, do a stacked crouched sync (which I think might be a bounce, and can happen fairly reguarly with this weapon).

Intended strats for bonuses:
b1 - speed pogo into a sync, resync high (basically jump 11 + 14)
b2 - sync and sync and..
b3 - wallpogo/catches etc. theres a few speedy options here

Check the thread in the mapping section there's info/links etc. for how to do it.

As for some practical knowhow. The triggers don't seem to instantly update, at least for weapon modifying stuff. You can see that in my demo bounce map, where if you want the no roll grenades you have to equip and requip a weapon before it takes effect, so its not really effective for changing stuff mid-map. However if you want map wide effects place the triggers over the spawn zone, that seems to instantly give any joining player the modifications. However its still possible to disable it via going to spectate i think, so its not 100% foolproof at the moment.

If you want i can upload the vmf and you can see how i put the triggers around the spawn for this case.

How come that tempus has a different version of b2 than the download provides??

The download has a few quality of life changes to make running the map slightly more consistent. The suffix wasn't iterated because the changes were made within a few hours of each other, after it was play tested on Tempus. So Tempus may end up with a b3 or b2_fix or something along those lines (which will be identical to the current version).

It was mostly because of how tempus affects the extra attributes. So I added those triggers at the start of every jump to help ensure that you can't loose the airstrike buffs mid-run. Also, the only way to do the bonuses was to start in a map run, then teleport (Via end of map or cmds). If you just went straight to the bonuses from spectate or loading the map you wouldn't have the buff.

Nothing was changed to the actual jumps themselves.

As something to be noted. On jump 9 on tempus i switched from airstrike to rl back to airstrike and lost the airstrike attributes and couldn't get them back.

this map probably should not have been added, which underscores the current glut of maps that are either terrible or just have issues working in a server(this map is the latter)

there's nothing wrong with slowing down with the map additions and picking maps that are a good fit for competitive online play

Tempus breeds a culture of completion. Maps aren't just added as they come, admittedly some maps are absolutely abhorrent to run, they are always looked at/play tested/decompiled and just generally stripped apart to see if it's going to work or be fit for Tempus, or at least how to fix it to make it work. I can say that I haven't encountered any issues with this map after it's addition, at least that the new version won't fix.

With all that said, if there are any new maps, besides this, that you disagree with being added I'd like to know. There hasn't really been any negative feedback about recent maps, so it would be useful to have some.
