This is my first project I've made using hammer and it's still real messy in a lot of parts. I'd say it's a low t4 demo map that I'm pretty sure is possible without regen for soldier, but I really haven't tested that yet. It has 7 jumps right now, and I'm going to add a few more along with 2 bonuses. On second to last (pogo w/ windows) there's a ceiling smash -> bhop for soldier. Right now the map ends with the platform that's after the vert, but I'm considering making the vert the start of a small pogo course. I know the big skybox area and the lighting in general is really bad lookin right now, I'll do something with that eventually.

Anyways, lemme know what you think about the jumps/spacing or if you find cheats/annoying shit.

The map has a leak, also third last looks super ugly with no walls. Decent first map though, fixing the leak is the only major issue.

Oops! I fixed the leak. I had grouped some teleports together gafter my final test by accident that made the entity be outside my map. And yeah, I'm going to something a lot less ugly on the skybox area, hopefully.

Just throwing it out there; but if you want some more soldier friendly bits you can simple have nogrenade brushes set with a 1 unit gap off the brush, that way soldiers can shoot a surface but stickies fizzle.
Also you can do soldier/demo specific teleports if you want to keep the bhops just for soldier for instance.

Also some of the stuff seems a little dark but a lot of that is probably the leak. Additionally its personal preference, but I think its worth the extra bit of effort to do some different detailing than dev textures (I was guilty of this), its a bit tired looking and bland now. Its fine if you mix it in with other stuff but pure dev textures are getting old :/


Otherwise seems okay so far.

don't listen to this guy, demo maps are better when soldier suffer.
