the problem with that statement lambda is that SEVERAL people believe you were playing favorites, quotes such as "lambda thinks new jumpers all suck" come to mind (not my words, not pointing fingers either)

we're facing community discourse over something pretty stupid right now, something pretty stupid that we already know how to fix

Hahahaha, i don't care what they think. I dont think new jumpers sucks, i'm always open to help new jumpers, altought i left long time ago...

The judging thing sucks and what not, but can we please focus on the more serious issue that is toss changing the textures of jump_minions. The textures are about 95% of why my jump is some really epic 3rd place material.

Having seen mireals jumps I can without a doubt say that lambda should have stayed gone. Not only did he singlehandedly ruin the demo trick jumping competition, but he comes and pollutes the forums with his wealth of misinformation in a pathetic attempt to save face.

yeah i let vexon handle judging because he wants to become admin someday so we're giving him false hope to make him feel better

Exile giving all low ratings is essentially making himself weighted less in the judging section, which is honestly fine by me as long as you were consistent (e.g. not Lambda's give everyone 2's and then jorge a 7).

As for Lambda... we asked (I believe) all judges from bg4 to participate on the notion that they were trustworthy and for the most part, impartial. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case this time, so I do apologize for the issue that had been caused. I should've stepped in when I had the chance.

One thing we can do is disqualify JorgeLayja's jump and give first place to crocket and then jorge gets second because his other jumps were "fairly" judged. If you guys want that, then it can happen as I haven't fully distributed the prizes yet. (Although that's going to leave some people bitter and salty)

Looking at the points value, even if Lambda didn't judge, Jorge's jump still would have won vs crocket's.

For next time (if there even is one), we're definitely going to have some rules in place to avoid issues like this.

Well I used basically the same judges (with a few new ppl, exile and lambda were not new to judging (were judges in bg3 too)) from last beginnings, and those judges did fine last year so... idk what you guys wanted me to do. I cant force people to judge what i think is right, other wise why even have other judges

Mireal pulled out so we can't give the win to him. It's understandable that he pulled out because of the unfair judging but:
1) People shouldn't have had access to the scoresheet before the winners were announced in the first place (would have been public after)
2) In the event that this situation had still occurred post-announcement (because people would then see the biased judging PLUS Mireal wouldn't have pulled out), then we could talk about giving Mireal the win.

Hypothetically if organization were GOOD, and our judges were mature, Mireal would have never know about our decitions, and he would never withdrew his jumps... Thats pretty immature from both sides.
