Can someone tell me why anyone would want to wipe their timeslike I actually do not get it
it gets very boring once you hardly get any points. You hit a cap and can't go any higher. It's like any game that you prestige in, once you reach the top, you go back down to start again.
So it's just people who don't want to try to beat their own timesI guess I have a reason why they do it now, but I still don't really understand why anyone would have that kind of mindset

Once you have a good time you spent a while to get, you don't want to just re run most of the time. Mostly because a) if it's a good tt, you won't get many points and b) you already have a good time and there's no need to beat it.

I just don't see what wiping your score and getting a new one does for you. A standard that was set for other people to beat is then gone for seemingly no reason.
