hey guys

i've been working on and off for the past long while to get some kind of jurf_b1 version out because i never really felt happy with the state that a1/a2 were released in. so, this time, i'm asking for all of you guys to help me test this map out (instead of a select few). hopefully, this way, i can get more feedback and be able to tone the map better before releasing it onto servers/tempus/whatever

i repeat: this map is not yet made for any public server

what i'm looking for are: speedrun feedback, spacing feedback, and general feedback (e.g. jump confusion, texture issues, teleport issues)

UPDATE 4/20/2018: map is now in texturing phase and will be in this for a long while as i procrastinate on this forever

- teleports on jump 18 are now fixed
- trigger_teleport right under water block on jump 4
- jump 8 second jurf ramp moved up
- jump 21 nogrenades added
- jump 19 no longer clips into jump 20

map remade from the ground up -- map is now entirely on-grid (also, compile time reduced by a significant amount!)
- jump 3 modified to feel better
- jump 20 modified to feel better
- jump 21 end platform is closer
- numerous spacing changes across the map
- jumps 10-21 are now connected via connectors
- jump 10 water block is larger, allowing for more consistency

here are some issues i found on my first playthrough:

-i think the first water level could use a tele trigger at the bottom of the water
-the tele on the pogo catch to jurf to ss- jump takes you to the start of the previous jump

trigger_hurt is missing too but i'm sure you're aware of that.

overall, i'd already prefer this version over the old jurf!

glad to see this wasn't given up on!

huge improvements from when you just changed a couple jumps a few months back, well done. agree with what donutt said. will run again when i get home and on my good computer, and update this post if i find anything else. the transitions seem nice, hard to test on the laptop.

The jump before the button jump teleports you to the wrong jump if you fail (you go one jump back).

The jump before the button jump teleports you to the wrong jump if you fail (you go one jump back).

lol forgot trigger_hurt even though i told myself to put it in my b, but map should be playable without (hurtme works better)

teleport on jump 18 fixed now

for jump 10: is it because you want to reset faster if you miss the water block? oh you mean jump 4 whoops yeah sounds good
another note: i believe jump 10 is more cheatable now than before, in which you don't need to use the connector to gain enough speed for the ramp to shoot over it, but i haven't tried myself

awaiting more feedback (2 weeks or some major pressing issue stops testing from being feasible) before uploading another version so i don't flood the forums with br0ke maps

Only thing I really noticed was that last doesn't have nogrenades on the wall, not sure if that was intentional.

ok i just played it and found 3 major issues:
1: the tele on the sync catch>rampslide>speedshot brings you to the previous jump
2: the last button on the button jump slides the walls just fine, but one wall goes into the next jump
3: missing textures on the telesync jump and on the button jump. it needs to be packed
still epic tho :)

what the FUCK i thought i fixed the teleport shit and ok yea i forgot to pack lmao

edit: ok i only fixed like half the teleports on that jump
edit2: ok updated everything i think try now
