Hey !
So I've been wondering something for quite a while. I noticed sometimes that people talk about jumping in thirdperson instead of firstperson.
Does it really help ? Is it better to use thirdperson ? And do people really use it or is it just people who copied 1 or 2 really good jumpers and say that if they do that it must be better ?
Thanks in advance for answering :)

It's much better to jump in firstperson. However, thirdperson is used in demo jumping for extremely advanced airpogo by a few people. Stick to firstperson for now.

as porkie said, thirdperson is used by some demo jumpers now for stuff like airpogo or verts since it really helps there, especially on kinda bad ping

you can use third person to do ramp syncs when you have high ping and can't see your rockets

unless you use speedo, but idk the speed required for downward ramp syncs

It will change depending on the angle of the ramp, but you can always use the speed of cl_showpos
