well, it's a good thing to learn sooner than later that you can't expect anyone to be nice on the internet

I love the passive aggressive tone of this post.

I feel like, at least for me personally, there's some reason why people don't give feedback/enough feedback:

1.) Some of their opinions are subjective. For example, "I don't like this jump" or "This looks/feels weird". Map makers (usually) tend to just say "well I disagree with you, I like it" and just disregard stuff like that. At least in my experience.

2.) The map/jumps itself is really hard/long, which is really off-putting for a lot of people because they don't want to spend massive amounts of time playtesting some RNG sync/long wallpogo (like what Boshy said).

3.) Lastly, it's the truth that the vast majority of players on Tempus don't care about testing maps, they're just there for points/grinding.

Don't get off-put by negative comments here and there, ignore the flames and learn from the good criticism you get from players. Can't wait to check out your next map!

I really understand that, many times I wanted to speak about subjective thing into my feedback and I was like "hey maybe the mapper just like it that way, it's a bad thing only for myself" and I focused on  design/objective things.

Anyway I now think I (and everyone) should tell even subjective  things too. Maybe the mapper won't care, and so what ? You said what you were thinking, you can't do more and whatever if mapper won't take this into account. Don't feel afraid to speak because it will be useless or whatever is  braking you to speak.

Don't hesistate to provide feedback, I tell you that again. Whatever that cross your mind could be useful.

the more people that complain the better your map is because then it's actually being played

the worst is when no one talks about your map at all
