Everyone loves holes... right? Well I do which is why i made this map!
Map is as you can guess about soldier holes. The map is inspired by legendary hole maps such as armature, aggregate and speed2 and our long time favorite jump_when. The map contains no random bounces so don't be afraid to playtest! Looking to get feedback on every jump, but biggest concerns are on jump 10 which includes prefires for our prefire people (dont worry, holes too :)) Feel free to say anything that comes to mind.

10 jumps
1 course
5 bonuses (looking to add more! (if i get ideas... running out of them)

T5/T6 for solly, T4/T5 for demo

OUTDATED jump explanations:

jump 1: RJ -> wallshot
jump 2: fast downpogo to a holeshot at end (no regen)
jump3: speedshot to catch on wall and into hole
jump4: texturebug bottom of window -> wallswitch and 2 rockets on center pillar -> wallswitch -> end (no regen)
jump 5: ceiling -> sync powerbounce
jump 6: ctap -> wallbugs
jump 7: texturebug bottom of window and shoot wall (pumpkin will boost you up) -> wallshot -> powerbounce
jump 8: prefire 2 while strafing -> wallshot -> 2 skips -> sync catch at lower part
jump 9: Ctap -> skip -> wallshot -> skip -> catch -> skip rampsync into hole
jump 10: prefire 1 up -> wait -> enter catapult and wallsync lower -> strafe through hole and wallsync upper -> wallshot -> wallshot into hole


Bonus 1: prefire 2 -> wallshot -> speedshot -> hit ceiling -> power jumpbug triple
Bonus 2: rampshot/sync -> prefire 3-4 -> RJ telehop wallquad/wallquint -> strafe
Bonus 3: pogo
Bonus 4: triple catch from rampslide -> doublecatch on floor into hole
Bonus 5: prefire 3 on ramp -> strafe down holes -> RJ -> wallquad to where start of jump 10 would be

Updating!

old jump 8 replacing old bonus 4.
New jump 8.
Made bonus 3 and 5 more difficult.
Corrected some mistakes in textures

Known issues:
start of jump 8 missing regen trigger although rest of the jump has the correct regen

Would love to get feedback on 8. I myself am not sure what i think of it

Updating again

jump 8 and jump 9 switched order for a better difficulty progression

Added a strafe part to jump 8
Added a rampsync and another hole to the end of jump 9

PREVENTED texturebugs on B3 between bottom phase and the wall (If this doesn't work, PLEASE LET ME KNOW)
added regen covering all of jump 9

Major changes:
old last is now replacing bonus 2
new last
nerfed jump 8 by 400 units
made bonus 4 more interesting.

Other changes:
raised hole on jump 3
added more texture changes to texturebug jumps
adjusted phase heights on bonus 3
fixed jump 9 tele destination being inside the ground
improved visibility on the strafe part

Lots of changes, i'll mention the ones i remember:

  • changed the theme on Bonus 4 as well as made the start different.
  • Changed how last looks
  • Added momentum canceling teleports on last
  • Changed the end of Jump 9 to be a rampslide -> wallshot instead of a rampsync.
  • Added some sort of anticheat fix to Bonus 5
