Gaylord b2 is a VERY hard bonus to beat, and Boshy was the first person to beat the bonus a few years after the map had been released (so the zones were already set). Only a handful of people have beaten the bonus to this day. When he set the record, it stood until January this year. Between the time of Boshy setting the time and today, the start dz has been moved back. So if anyone was to perform exactly the same run today as Boshy did back in 2018, it would be slower as the zones have changed.

There of course isn't proof that Boshy changed the dz, as such evidence has been lost to the ether as demos get deleted after a while (unless dz changes are logged). However, then you would need to explain which admin changed the zones and for what reason. As far as I can tell, there are no legitimate reasons to change this zone, but the admin that did it can surely post in this thread and explain themselves.

Alos, to be clear, it is not suspicious that Boshy adjusted the zone before any times had been set. What is suspicious is that the zone has been placed further back AFTER times had already been set on it.

Ok so this is very interesting.

Now what we knew as of before was that boshy had selfishly changed the END zone of the bonus to be beneficial for him. Now based on what kaja has found, he also edited the START zone and it confirms he in fact has edited the zones making it even less likely it was any other admin who has no reason to do it whatsoever. This leaves us with a couple of open questions:

• Why does boshy claim scotch made the zones when in reality he has made them himself?
• Why does boshy claim he was not admin as of when he got his record when there is STV demo footage of him changing the start zone?

For the first point, I'm referring to this:

Now let me open up the 2nd point a bit. I'm referring to this quote:

This is easily debunked by the fact I wasnt admin back then and since I've completely gaylord b2 I've lost soldier records (if you look at my broken) so this just seems like another attempt to frame me. It's pretty much the case of if you look hard enough into something you might find something that isn't actually there and knowing your circlejerk dislikes me its not surprising.

Now as we all know, only admins and head admins have the right to edit zones. Why lie about such a trivial fact if all you do by doing so is risk your whole made up story collapsing?

Important to note, Boshy changing the zone before running it the first time is fine; it didn't have any completions yet. It's pretty clear that Boshy has done a better job of consistently zoning new maps than any of the previous admins, so it makes sense that he would make the zones more regular before running something effectively new.

The only question is when/why/by whom the zones were updated after Boshy's completion, and there's no publicly available record of that (unless the API has more info on zones than I thought). If the db has relevant zone history, I'm sure Scotch will look into it when he gets around to dealing with all of this.

I'm posting again to clarify the demo situation that has previously been mentioned in the thread and also posting new discoveries.

If you take a look at the leader board of huh b1, you see the following:



Notice how the #1 on demo is ridiculously fast compared to everyone else? Surely one would want to know how Boshy managed to achieve such a time. However when you go to Tempus to check the demo, you see this message:



This is not a normal message to get when you are trying to download a demo that is not uploaded. If the demo is not uploaded, it should look like this:



As previously mentioned, this seems to happen when a time was wiped an unwiped again. However, the good news is that the demo is not actually gone, it is only dereferenced. You can find it through the Tempus website, but not through ordinary means but by manually changing the demo ID in the link:

where <id> is replaced with the actual ID of the demo. The ID of the demo is unknown, so you have to find the date and time of the WR and look through the demo archives manually. This shouldn't take too long as the ID:s are chronologically ordered. Using this method, we can find the demo and find the method Boshy used to get the WR:



So clearly, the demo was uploaded, but dereferenced from Tempus at some point. This only seems to happen to a couple of demos, most of which where Boshy has the WR. However, some of them are uploaded in the backend, and can still be found. Now this again doesn't prove that Boshy was behind this, but is yet another funny coincidence that somehow seems to benefit Boshy in some way.

Is there any way to determine if the start/end dz was changed by the time of maxxy's Gaylord b2 clear (since Boshy's and maxxy's times are very close)? Is there any possibility that the start/end dz changes were somehow reverted due to backend shenanigans? Did anything major happen regarding Tempus's backend/database from Boshy's clear up to now?

Boshy and Maxxy completed it with the same zones. Then they were changed and now the zones are what they are.

EDIT: after looking at the start zone again, it seems as if it is further from the edge than it was before boshy moved it to the very edge. This means it couldn't simply have gotten reverted.

While I dislike the shitstorm of personal attacks this thread holds, and I personally don't care about the green box, these cheating allegations are quite concerning and it would be nice for someone with technical knowledge (i.e. other admins) to take a look.

As for what Shunix said about not being able to fathom why someone as good as Boshy would cheat...
It's because they know they could get away with it since no one would doubt their skill (remember Seras?).

It's because they know they could get away with it since no one would doubt their skill (remember Seras?).

Interestingly enough I wasn't even that sneaky (I guess that's the word?) about it. Back then, in my dumb 17 year old mind, I somehow didn't process that hitting 90% of my bhop attempts was even suspicious . Though maybe that was a part of it - it's been a while. It's certainly something I regret as it messed with a lot of the trust I had with people in the community, and despite what everyone seems to say about the jump community being garbage; I actually really love this community, and honestly it just feels bad to see Boshy going down a similar path (if this is certainly true). At least back then we had Jayess and Rob123 still around and they could adequately respond to the situation (For example: When it came out, I was banned, wiped and stripped of my mod). Seems like with Scotch offline for the last 40 days on Steam, this might just be a situation where literally nothing can be done because nobody actually has the power to do anything.

Just an FYI Scotch is still reachable through discord pms but he's pretty busy or something right now, but he will respond. He also said he planned to judge jam maps too so he should be around at some point.
