High quality video from a TF2 demo?

Heya there,

I am wanting to know how I would go about recording 720p or 1080p quality videos for YouTube.

I have got the demos recorded via TF2...however what is the best method to record and render a video of 720p/1080p.

Any help would be much appreciated, as I am looking to do some more jump videos.

Also I am wondering in regards to this...

"By the way this guide is incredibly outdated. It might have been okay in 2010. I don't have time to go into specifics but you should be making use of stuff like VDM files, srcdemo2, SFM, Adobe MPE etc."

Guide is completely up to date, things like scrdemo, VDM files, or any other software regarding editing are completely optional and most certainly not necessary.
