In this whole scenerio I got kicked 5-6 times for making a joke??
Also getting threathened with a permaban and the admin starts swearing at me.

I'm pretty sure he would just be banning you from his single server, not all of the many tempus servers.

Also disrespect to admins is always a reasonable ban on any server anywhere. While you may think it was a joke (I'm not arguing it wasn't), he may take it more seriously, and it's his opinion that really matters.

I would assume he is also an admin of the tempus network. That would at least make sense considering the fact that he has physical access to the software running on the server anyway.

The chat log sounds like he just wanted to ban you from that one server and not tempus.

Gauge is a friendly enough guy.  His tone suggests it wasn't just this incident that put him off. 
The fact that you're publicizing this problem instead of handling things yourself seems a lot more childish.

You could either add him on steam and talk to him about it like a mature adult or you could just accept your punishment and learn to not make stupid jokes towards this guy.

The only reason for you to be kicked that many times just means that you kept going back in and continued to be an immature child.

I didn't kick you for making a joke. I silenced you for being annoying. You then reconnected to avoid being silenced. Normally I'd just give you a 30 minute ban for that, but sourcemod seems to no longer have that option. Hence why I repeatedly kicked and silenced you. In the end I got sick of you reconnecting to evade it and threatened the only possible action I had left, which was a permanent ban from my server alone. I am not a tempus admin, I do not have the powers to ban someone from the whole of tempus. Nor did I even threaten you with a tempus-wide ban. In the end you even reconnected and I didn't ban you, so why are you even whining? If you'd just accepted being silenced for a while in the first place, you could've kept jumping without any problems.

If you have an issue with how that server is being run, then you can complain to any of the tempus admins if you feel the need. You can also stop playing on it. I have every right to silence, kick or ban you for any reason I choose on the server that I pay for. If you want another EU server run by someone else, you'll have to speak to Rob about that.
