so i want pain indicators in my videos but the stv demos look much nicer and id rather use them if i can. if anyone knows how to either get pain indicators working with stv demos (if thats even possible) or use a pov demo together with an stv that'd be great. thanks in advance

You can greenscreen everything but the indicators out from a POV and then overlay that onto the STV footage in editting. Or fake them by creating your own indicator picture and use some tracking to make them look semi-realistic. Or you could just suck it up and choose one because there is no way to input indicators into an STV currently

It makes no difference really, it's a style thing. Althoug map showcases they should have indicators imo.

I've experimented with bluescreening and greenscreening painmarkers out of POV demos and into stv demos.  They end up with a bit of a tint of whatever color you decide to go with, but they work I guess.
