1 issue with getting anything reverted that we face is that airpoog is a really high level technique so it effects a ridiculously small number of people in the TF2 community. With the past demo nerf it effected everyone that enjoys demo. Also if the TF2 subreddit is anything to go by, the rest of the TF2 community is sucking valves cock right now.

Also when it comes to buffing the sticky jumper all that needs to be done is make it so that only 2 PRIMED stickies can be out at one time, which would be the easiest fix imaginable. Sure this will kill of the triple and quad air sticky but that's just a silly gimmick anyway.

I talked to Whisker, he said he'd let one of his VALVE guys on the inside know what's wrong. Hopefully this will be fixed :)

What about triple prefires? Buffing the sticky jumper will just make triples (or quads if the cap got raised to that) stupid, since you have no risk of dying and get full knockback from all 3 (or 4). Changing the sticky launcher is the only way imo.

If you mean putting 2 stickies on the ground and firing another wherever, then that's always worked. If you mean putting 2 stickies down firing a third at the ground and waiting exactly .8 seconds to det, I personally don't care. I would prefer normal pogo to be easier with the jumper, over people cheating with 3 stickies, and even then they could just put a .7 or .75 second timer after the third sticky is fired and negate the cheating.

Or again they could just set the sticky launcher to act the old way on the player and the new way on the enemies.

By triple prefire I mean 3 stickies on the ground and a prefire in the air. Unless some complicated changes involving timings of subsequent stickies are added, which they probably won't because of the simplicity of other changes, it'll just be triples that you do like doubles. Changing the sticky launcher's self damage radius seems to be the best way to go.

As far as I can see unfortunately, most of the tf2 community seem happy about the changes. The best we can hope for is that they fix replace the sticky jumper so that it allows 2 primed stickies at a time.
