Soldier m3thskiLL Posts: 185	I fear the server is going to same way as Chillout, there is too much stuff to download when you connect. I dont know if its just the conc mod stuff (skins), but its making the server die. I saw 10 people join and disconnect before they got in (in a row). I asked one of them (b4nny) and he said its because he didnt want to download everything. imo the only thing that should be downloading is the map// the server is empty right now too

Posts: 397 dude...	concmod is only like... 1mb? it's not what keeps ppl away, if they can't wait the 1 min it takes extra to load 1mb, they're not gonna play a jumpmap which might take them more then 1min per jump i'd nearly even go as far as to say, that if they didn't want to download shizzle, they didn't really want to play there in the first place... but i know thats a bit of an extreme standpoint (though i do think so, cos whatever download it is, its only once) (or maybe it's cos im oldschool, and still used to people actually having to download & install shit themselves in order for it to work.... omg! unthinkable) « Last Edit: December 22, 2010, 03:59:07 AM by CrancK » ---------------------------

Guest	There's only just the conc model to download that I'm aware of. That takes literally SECONDS to get with it on the fast download, but other then that there isn't anything to really download.
