It may be that perhaps your PC isn't strong enough to handle hosting the small server (I believe it does this) as well as rendering TF2.  You can try installing some sort of fps config temporarily and see if that works, but I'm uncertain.

Apparently, I'm a robot.
there is no magic command or setting, you simply create server>"mapname" or console>map "mapname". If it is laggy, that is client side aka your setup.

Could be a lot of things...could join a jump server which would set some commands on client side but more than likely nothing special and then load the map. If it manages to be fine after that, it is actually a command but finding which would take looking through loooong configs.

As far as I know, no one has ever had a problem loading a jump map locally.

Something like this used to happen to me until I started to use the "map <name>" console command instead of using the menu, you could use that command if you weren't already though I'm not sure it'l help

just because its new doesn't necessarily mean its great (although it probably is great and probably isn't your computer) and i have never had this ... ever...if i were you i would get an fps config (google chris' fps config if you are going to get an fps config) but other than that...i have no idea.

It might be from the latency, or from the rockets in general.
When people have rockets, and they shoot crazily with it, I start to lag.
Soo, I jump with Demoman to make stuff easier on my part.
