General Discussion / Re: Jumpers getting into competitve TF2
« on: March 29, 2012, 03:56:08 PM »
I see quite a lot of comp players on Jump it, signficantly more so right before/after the typical  9~12 scrim times.  Looking at the speedrun leaderboards as a reference now and I guess the best of the best on jump it typically don't. I realize its not the best metric as I can think of a few real strong jumpers that don't give any fucks about speedruns, but it's something.

I'm not new to jumping, and yeah I agree that drop pogo is a lot easier. The wall climb just feels really inconsistent to me. Since it's coming out from the center I feel like I should be looking straight towards the wall, but I still seem to get better results sometimes when I'm looking at the wall with an angle similar to the normal rocket launcher.

bind duck to mouse2, click mouse2 at the speed you would click for a double click.

Jump Help / the original

did any of our higher level jumpers switch to the original? Hoping to pick someones brain on improving my wallclimb with it, it's the only aspect of my jumping that hasn't really gotten up to par with the new launcher yet.
