Hmm, you've got the basics down but remember jumping is serious so no smiling. Also you should try crouching while you rocket jump as it will increase your distance & height. Remember to hold it throughout the jump for more controlled airstrafing. Aside from that it looks good, angle, timing, all the basics are right.

Not quite.  The rocket explosion hurts my hand, and I usually switch it over to give myself a rest mid-air.
