The Man with the Sparkly Gun
Hi there, everyone.

I'm bad at rocket jumping. I can do the standard jump-crouch-shoot jump to get to high places, and I know how shooting behind me at an angle launches me forwards at a pretty OK speed if I get it right. If I'm lucky I nail some basic jumps off walls and stuff like that (like crossing the yard at the start of Granary). I have these basic skills that I want to develop upon and evolve further, but I have absolutely no idea where to start. What should I practice (practise?), how should I do it and where should I do it?

Please guide me in the direction of a map/technique/server/tutorial/person/whatever that I can use to build on the tiny little framework of RJing knowledge I currently have.

Okay
rj_rckteer, jump_beef, jump_rush are good maps to start with. Gogo.

The gamingdeluxe server (91.192.208.50:27016) often play those kinda maps. Or well, more often than chillout anyway, so you might want to start there.

Thanks, guys! I'll look up those maps and read that post. I appreciate the guidance!

And rush, I may hit you up about those lessons. ;)
