Stats should be as clean and simple as possible and easy to look up. In my opinion regen and similar mods should be disabled when speedrunning.

Non-solid models would be great. You need checkpoints on maps with teleport rooms near the spawn. They can also be used to force players to take a certain route, like the secret jump on beef.

I've just always been about doing the map as the mapper wanted it done. Like how you did rj_rckteer_adv wonder :P haha you could have done it slightly faster if regen was on but you didn't because regen and non regen separates the boys from men :P

On j2 they just have a green light beside the name that signifies its been done in hardcore or not. so your name could be on the scoreboard twice, once in hc and one non.

You can take polls/votes on forums right? maybe we should do this and see how it weighs among the community and follow the majority

yea people seem to say that a lot. no regen is pure/legit/manly/etc.
i dont really agree lol. usually all it means is you get to regroup when youre reloading/walking. slower pace
with regen its more like defrag, no pauses

anyway i guess we need both options with j2 style scoreboard or two scoreboards.

yea just throw both options in there, I like both options dont get me wrong, but from a former mappers perspective I like having the non - regen option because i like seeing my jumps done how i mapped them to be done, like on rook 9 for example, i give 5 rockets to clear the jump but with regen it allows people to use 8 rockets and easily clear it. making  the map easier then intended. But at the same time its cool to just blow through a map with regen anyways like j2 has it set up ^^.

Something to consider adding... Though i can only think of 1 or 2 maps that this would ever be used on. Allow a second ending pole so you can touch one of 2 poles to finish your course. Mainly for rj_rckteer for speedrunning with the split endings.

well since you are setting up the DB, you could just make it a /cmd and leave it out of the menu since it will prolly be only used 1 or 2 times

You can cheat your times by going through an engi teleport, at least maps without checkpoints. Someone did this by accident yesterday I believe.

dude...
there might be an event tied to engi teleports, i'll check if i can find that, then i can use that to stop the timer when anyone uses an engi tp
